Cashyra, born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, now resides in Durham, NC. She
began singing at the age of four years old, and at the age of six, she was joined with
her mom and two younger siblings in the gospel group "For His Glory". Cashyra
developed her skills by singing in many venues, and additionally shared the stage
with several renown gospel artists.

In 2005, she began faithfully serving in her church as the Praise and Worship Leader
and has went on to release her debut soulful and gospel album entitled "GREAT DAY"
in September 2011. This album is comprised of different gospel flavors such as jazz,
neo-soul, urban, hip-hop, and contemporary music. Her debut project also led her
to receive three 2014 Rhythm of Gospel Award nominations.

In 2000 she worked as a Radio Personality for WNCU (North Carolina Central University), and hosted 2 Gospel Video TV shows . This led her to work at the “The Stellar Awards, which is one of the largest televised Gospel Awards Shows.

In 2006 she became the CEO of her own business “TGP Graphics and Print.” She is also the founder of “H.I.S. Poetry, and Open Mic”, and the founder of an all women empowerment group called “Fa’ the Ladies.”

She is an anointed, energetic woman of God, in whose mission is found in Luke 19:13; “Occupy till I come.” This is why she shares her ministry of preaching and singing the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as she can until the coming of the Lord! She knows, without doubt, that she was BORN TO PRAISE AND WORSHIP God all the days of her life!
